Revolutionary War - Boston Tea Party

EmptyRing.png

Students explore colonial Boston on the night of the famous Boston Tea Party. As students explore, they will encounter colonists, patriots and British red coats who will provide insight into what life was like. They will see life size renderings of some of the most famous colonial Boston sights such as the Old North Church, Faneuil Hall, the Old State House, Paul Revere's house and more. The experience culminates with the students boarding a small boat and crossing the harbor to a tea ship in the harbor. After exploring below decks, they will help the other patriots throw the tea into the harbor.

This experience brings the students directly to the past to experience the birth of America by understanding the environment and conditions that were present at the start of the Revolutionary War.

Interactive Challenges

We will work with you to create challenges and tasks within the VR environment that will engage students in the content like never before. Those can include things like scavenger hunts, escape room style challenges, fact findings and participation in historical events.

Player Interaction

Player interactions describes how the students will interact in VR. We can build in characters that teach and enhance the experience. We can create objects that can be moved and manipulated. The types of interactions depend on how you want the students to experience the content.

Content Connection

We pride ourselves in connecting our experiences to the content that is being taught in the classroom. Our trips are designed to supplement the standards and give students a new way to view and understand the topics. We will work with you to choose what parts of the content you want emphasized in the experience.
