My name is Jeremy Cook and I am the founder of Flip the Switch Education. After teaching in the classroom for 18 years, I decided to dedicate my time to helping students through the newest technological medium in education. Virtual reality (VR) has the ability to show students content like never before by taking them into their learning, instead of being passive observers of their learning.
What We Do
Our goal is to provide learners with new and exciting ways to learn and experience educational content. Through virtual reality modules, we can take students to places, time periods and environments that would be impossible to visit in real life. Students studying World War II can visit a meticulously rendered French village during the Battle of Normandy, or take a stroll down the docks of Boston harbor during the evening of the Boston Tea Party. VR makes it possible to visit the impossible.

Beyond taking learners on experiences, we also provide tutoring through virtual reality. From the comfort of their home, learners can work directly with a tutor like never before. They can interact with virtual objects and with each other in amazing VR environments. Tutoring for the SAT becomes an interactive escape room instead of a tedious session in front of practice tests and work sheets.

While our primary focus is on personal delivery of VR experiences and live, one-to-one tutoring, we will still provide access to much of the content for teachers, parents and learners to access on their own time. Please feel free to reach out to us about how VR can reshape education for you.
