Exploring Ancient Rome
Students get the opportunity to explore a stunning recreation of ancient Rome. They can stroll down a recreated forum and sit down in a full size Roman Colosseum. There are several different approaches that can be taken including a scavenger hunt, fact collecting, intractable missions and a general tour.
Interactive Challenges
This experiences contains interactive challenges including a Roman escape room, artifact collection, character missions and gladiator battle.
Player Interaction
The students have several opportunities to interact with non-player characters during this experience. Students can learn facts and information from local Romans. They can help Roman citizens with certain tasks associated with daily Roman life and they can help to discover how Roman government functions.
Content Connection
This VR field trip will teach students about the daily life of ancient Romans, which includes their contributions, inventions, government and agriculture. They will also have the opportunity to learn about famous emperors, gladiator games and other important events in Roman history.
Collaboration
Students will have opportunities to work with each other to complete tasks, unlock puzzles and discover information. There are also plenty of opportunities to interact with the VR leader within virtual ancient Rome.
